The four seasons of nature,
eternally swinging back and forth,
constantly leaving us left in frigid shock,
or in the blazing death of the afternoon sun.
The summer has come,
the heat has struck,
the unravelling scorching sun burns your skin,
as you gaze down the road with your shades on your eyes.
Tragedy occurs, and trees die,
Leaves fall to the ground, begging for mercy from God,
the vibrancy of summer has turned into a vapid scheme of lifeless hues,
leaving us questioning whether there is hope.
Your soul is cold and your life is frozen,
you gasp for breath in the frigid, suffocating air,
it feels like it will never end,
but around the corner, rebirth springs into action.
The birds sing, the world reborn,
Meaning is inserted back into the life of your dreams,
Things grow and flowers bloom,
but it all happens again.
There is a time in life for everything,
you must be ready for it,
you have been warned.
